JobScout Privacy Policy
How KyrosAura Corp collects, uses, and protects your data when you use the JobScout WhatsApp job search service.
01What JobScout is
JobScout is a WhatsApp-based job search assistant operated by KyrosAura Corp Pvt Ltd. You set up a profile — your skills, experience, target role and location, and your resume — and each search returns job listings matched against that profile. Searches are driven by your profile, not by a typed query.
This policy explains what data we collect when you use JobScout, how we use it, and your rights over it. It covers JobScout only. The kyrosaura.com website has its own, separate policy.
02What we collect

| Usage data | Number of searches performed per day, and your subscription tier. Used to enforce fair-usage limits and manage paid plans. |
03What we use it for
- To match your profile against relevant job listings using AI.
- To assess how well each listing fits your profile.
- To rewrite your resume for specific job descriptions.
- To personalise recommendations based on your profile.
- To enforce usage limits according to your tier.
- To process payments via Razorpay.
- To deliver your results and tailored resumes over WhatsApp.
- To keep the service running and improve it.
What we do not do.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share your phone number or your profile with third-party recruiters or employers. We do not use your data to train models.

05How long we keep it
- Profile and usage data — retained in Firestore while your account is active.
- Resume text and extracted profile data — stored in Firestore while your account is active, so we can match you to jobs and generate tailored resumes. Not discarded after results are returned.
- Search queries — not stored after your results are returned.
- Daily search counters — reset automatically at midnight IST.
- Payment records — retained as long as Indian tax law requires.
You can ask us to delete your account and everything attached to it at any time.
06Your rights
Under India's DPDP Act 2023 and other applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the profile data we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate in it.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw consent at any time — message STOP to the JobScout number.
- Port your data — request a copy of what we store.

07Security
All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or above. Firestore data is encrypted at rest by Google Cloud. Access to user data is restricted to authorised KyrosAura systems and personnel. API endpoints are protected with secret-key authentication.
08Minimum age
JobScout is for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact support@kyrosaura.com immediately and we will delete it.
09Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be sent to active users by WhatsApp message. Continued use of JobScout after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
